It's not mandatory, but you're helping to support development and updates!
You may download, use, and modify Organnery for your personal or professional use without restriction. However, the sale of this image, whether on physical media or as a download, is prohibited without prior authorization.
Organnery integrates the Aeolus software under the GPL3 license. You can access our modified source code, our wiki containing detailed information on usage and development, as well as incident tickets on
our public Git repository.
The default organ, named "Kerry201118", was entirely created and dubbed by Beaumont Kerry (UK). All rights reserved. Its distribution or sale outside of Organnery Distribution is prohibited without prior authorization.
Organnery v0.7.5 is offered free of charge to allow you to easily discover Aeolus under Linux, even without prior knowledge. Everything is configured for immediate use, with the option to follow the
video instructions. We will not be able to provide you with technical support, but we will do our best to respond to your messages.
If you require a modification or custom configuration that you cannot perform yourself, we can provide services to assist you. Please do not hesitate to contact us if needed.
The current image (version 0.7.5) is ONLY compatible with the following models Raspberry Pi 3B and 3B+. It will NOT work on other models, such as the Raspberry Pi 4! A later version may be compatible; subscribe to the newsletter to be notified.
By default, the distribution is configured to use the Raspberry Pi's internal audio output. Please note that this audio output has limited capabilities and the sound may be choppy or stuttering if you use complex combinations with many stops. If you need more stops, we recommend using a dedicated
Pisound audio board (You will need to reconfigure Organnery as explained in
this video).
